One institution, 2 houses and 100 formats. Throughout the year, the Berliner Festspiele puts on a wealth of imaginative and intelligent festivals, high-quality exhibition projects and individual events in the Haus der Berliner Festspiele and the Martin-Gropuis-Bau.

At its core is work by contemporary and international artists, showcased in the festivals MaerzMusik, Theatertreffen, Musikfest Berlin and Jazzfest Berlin, as well as exhibitions in the Martin-Gropius-Bau. Berliner Festspiele are starting a new format which will be launched in the autumn of 2016. The three-year programme “Immersion” will present a series of artistic works – as performance or sculpture, choreography, narrative space or virtual reality experience.
